20 years' experience in the industry
We specialise in obtaining vertical and oblique aerial imagery, satellite data, hyperspectral data, LiDAR, and thermal imagery. Using remote sensing methods, we make comprehensive inventories and analyses of urbanised space and natural environment. We offer services in the field of 3D modelling and create modern web applications for each type of geospatial data. We are focusing on continuous development and are looking for new opportunities for international cooperation in Europe and beyond.
Since 2001 we have been actively developing the geoinformation industry in Poland.
Founding and registration of the company headquartered in Tarnów
Purchase of the first aircraft – Piper Navajo
Purchase of a photogrammetric scanner and opening of the digital processing laboratory
We realise first significant projects abroad:
• aerial imagery and orthophoto for Romania • aerial imagery, DTM, DSM and true ortho for Lebanon
Beginning of the digital era – we buy the DMC I photogrammetric camera in our region of Europe
Purchase of a second aircraft – Cessna 402B
Creation of the first orthophoto as part of forest management plan for Forest District
Purchase of our first airborne laser scanner and another aircraft – Cessna T206H
Finalizing the project of imagery acquisition and orthophoto generation for four Ukrainian provinces as part of the World Bank project
Environment Remote Sensing Department is created and conducts first projects concerning Nature Protection
First ALS data collection in National Parks
Another year of investments:
• Second ALS system • Second digital camera – DMC II • Fourth aircraft - P-68 Observer II
Beginning of a three-year project for flood protection system in Poland, and collection of ALS data.
Implementation of a new service – simultaneous acquisition of oblique imagery and LiDAR for Kielce, Bytom, Cracow, Gdansk, Warsaw, Poznan and Wroclaw
We enter more foreign markets: Germany, Latvia, Turkey
Purchase of another camera - UltraCam Eagle
Creation of the Application Development Department, responsible for Poland’s first online shop with aerial imagery – map2.pl. This platform development and constant improvements have allowed introduction of currently market’s best web service to work with spatial data – OBLIVIEW®
Third ALS scanner by Riegl
Environment Remote Sensing Department carries out first projects with a new set of HySpex hyperspectral cameras in Słowiński and Biebrza National Parks
Our fifth, smallest, ultralight aircraft and fourth ALS scanner by Riegl join the fleet
New product in the offer – 3D Mesh model implemented in several cities, like: Gdansk, Katowice and Kielce
Beginning of the three-year R&D 'HabitARS' project, carried out in a scientific consortium financed by NCBiR (The National Centre for Research and Development)
Sixth aircraft and one more camera joins our fleet – DMC III
We realise more and more international projects – in Germany, Croatia, Czech Republic, Romania and Latvia
We buy Piper Chieftain, so far the biggest in our fleet, with two full-sized camera hatches
We purchase of our second oblique camera system
Opening of the R&D Centre located at the Rzeszów Jasionka Airport
Implementation of results our own R&D projects and starting the World’s unique Tree Crown Map project for the city of Warsaw – we classify over 50 tree taxa!
Launch of the OBLIVIEW® service
Purchase of the fifth Riegl laser scanner
We begin realisation of 'Remote Sensing for National Parks' programme, being one of the most advanced remote sensing projects in Europe. Here we cooperate with five Polish National Parks (NNP,WNP,WgNP, TNP, UWNP)
We boost our capacity with another aircraft, sixth ALS scanner and third oblique camera system
More new products, related to thermal imaging (mapystratciepla.pl), are launched.
We invest in our second P68 aircraft and seventh Riegl scanner
Working with us is a guarantee of a successful project.
Since 2001 we have been conducting most significant projects in Poland and Europe, spending over 2500 hours in the air yearly.
Qualified staff of pilots, photogrammetrists, geoinformation specialists, software developers, geographers and botanists – we strive to achieve the common goal of delivering highest-quality services.
Our own fleet of aircraft, a variety ofsensors and R&D Centre enable us to carry out projects, regardless of their scope and complexity.
One flight campaign is enough for us to collect a unique dataset for the whole surveyed area.
We focus on the actual client needs and offer data as a reliable source of knowledge.
Our main market is Poland, but each year we carry out more and more projects abroad. Our airplanes and helicopters have already landed in most European countries.
MGGP Group concentrates around a few separate market areas affected by numerous synergy processes. We consciously make use of them and by integrating all the activities, we achieve much better results.

LIFE21-CCA-PL-LIFECOOLCITY/101074553
The ambition of the LIFECOOLCITY project is to support the management of blue-green infrastructure (BGI) in 10,000 cities in the European Union. This will be addressed by implementing innovative systems that utilize Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and remote sensing (satellite and aerial imagery).
The goal is to enhance the adaptive capacity of cities to the effects of anthropogenic climate change and bring them closer to the model of smart cities of the future.
